The TMO spends far more time, energy and resources making sure everyone on campus has exactly the same color house, inside and out, facing the same direction, housing similarly clothed, protein-deficient bodies than it does on preserving the purity of oral instruction. The TMO has become more a religion of "the book" with innumerable codes of conduct, than an oral meditative tradition.
