A male friend dome goer tells me there is a sign in the mens dome
that says the pundits are coming any day now ..... and the sign has
been up there for months

As for FF growth no pundits broken dreams and promises. The town
itself would be dead long gone with the meditating population or non
town population we add so much to the town in so many ways. And yes
some are still moving here but by the dwindling enrollment at the
MSAE MMY school for kids grade 1-12 you can see the over population
shrinking and eventually both MSAE and MUM will be shut down by
accredidation board for low enrollment. When that day will come
anyones guess they keep saying but never happens. then there is a
whole group that now empty nesters cant get rid of their big houses
and would like to. Then some empty nesters who have kids and
grandkids that will always visit they can afford it and like their
space. There is not one answer to your questions but to say there is
a bit of everything like in any town. The one thing here is we could
be Maine or New Hampshire any small town American that is depressed.
We are small there are not as many jobs as there use to be and
people are aging. There are quite a few Ru types already on social
scurity and doing day work part time for cash to make up the rest
that they dont claim rides to the airport or painting etc
Probably the best place to be for retirement if you have limited
funds and the safest place on earth. I think most like it here after
all many have been here 20 years plus all their friends are here it
is small and safe what is not to like but when it comes to REAL
ESTATE or any financial decisions or other things that guide your
life decisions you must live your own life and not let the movement
guide your decisions whether it is building a home or going on a
course you cant afford. I think that group of people that are now
mature have been burned and now think for themselves has grown into
a large mass thus all these movement antics dont get supported at
all nor will the latest ones from Holland sadly maybe but
realistically we cant do them. We are aging , saving for retirment
etc the movement is not going to take care of any of those lifers
and true believers. but I guess they are so driven to be faithful
devotees on some other level than the relative and dont care about
retirment life insurance how they will leave i 5 years no less next
year. That group that follow MMY is very small now.

So all the same life factors that affect any small town and real
estate affect us but the Ru thing makes it all worse and you have to
be smart and an independent thinker to survive here or you will get
eaten up and live a poor life.If that suits you and you dont need
much that is fine but seems as you age you need more care more
comforts. Sorry for the tangent
