Actually after one has perfected viveka-khyati (discrimination of purusha)--one has to perfect "cessation" in Patanjali's "techniques" to 'get the Big E.' Viveka-khyati is often mistaken for the Big E as we experience the largeness and feeling of wholeness of Buddhi--but the expanse of Buddhi is not the Big E.
