For me there is a big distinction between an old school TMer --
initiated in the 70's maybe taught some, left org by late 70's, and
current TMer's who have active links to TMO. 

If an old school meditator was running for office, TM is a non issue.
If say, Paul Potter was running for office, yea, I would like to know
about his links to a zany organization. I think its relevant.
