Actually, living in California at the time, (were you?), it was my experience from local papers, talk around town, etc., that Huffington was one of the few candidates that was taken seriously, she had a serious platform, knew the issues and was a good debater. However, she did not have "electibility" -- not well enough known -- and most people polled or voted for one of the two main contenders. To compare her to Gary Coleman is a joke.
