Anyone know, why that common spelling (Osama) seems to differ from the more accurate Usama (Usaama)?
Well, at least Swedes prolly pronounce Osama like /usama/, as they pronounce, say, Olle like /ulle/ (Mors lilla Olle i skogen gick[yik(sic!)]: Mother's little Ollie in the forest "goed"/walked.) My hypothesis is Usama would be "embarrassing" to the US of A, but that's probably wrong! OTOH, Osama and Obama are almost too close to each other?!
