Not if what the 'teachersez' is a spontaneous upadesha aimed directly at what you are experiencing. These are intimate matters and if truly compassionate they will hit their mark. The further you get away from just plain old Gnosis the less relevant any teaching becomes for realization (Give me that ole time Gnosis).
