-----There's no sense of original purity of which we partake, there's just a -we must purify the world- approach. That's not very advaita. Moreover, remaking the world is not very advaita either. All of which leads me to think that he is not advaita either, which means he's not in unity at all.
He may not be in Unity. I have no idea. But I don’t think that a desire to help the world indicates one is not in unity.
