To put it slightly differently: I can't think of
another approach that would not have allowed Guru
Dev to come in for criticism, to at least share
the blame with MMY for whatever wasn't working.

Yet MMY has set it up so that he, MMY, gets *all*
the criticism; and he quite insistently gives all
the credit to Guru Dev.

I'm really not sure how what he's done can be
reasonably interpreted any other way. If it
were all ego and a desire to take the credit
for himself, why would he continue to give it
to Guru Dev?

And given that he has ensured Guru Dev will get
none of the criticism, how can it conceivably
be said, as Ingegerd did, that he is using Guru
Dev as an *alibi*?

If you have any intelligent response, I'd be
really interested to hear it. But just
dismissing what I said as a "desperate
rationalization" doesn't cut the mustard.
