Whoa! Just realized that it's not inevitable to interpret the compound word 'aSTaan.gayoga' (aSTa + an.ga + yoga) as a karmadhaarayasamaasa. Actually, it might seem more plausible to interpret is as a 'tatpuruSasamaasa'.
