Lynch coming to town
Offbeat filmmaker David Lynch has scheduled an appearance at the University of
Michigan's Power Center for the Performing Arts, 121 Fletcher St., at 7 p.m.
Sept.
25.
The director of "Mulholland Drive'' and "Wild at Heart'' - and creator of the
television series "Twin Peaks'' - is slated to address the creative process in
filmmaking, and what part his 30-year practice of transcendental meditation has
played in his work. The talk is free and open to the public.
