On one level, I'm not really hurting her feelings.
Judy *lives* to call other people liars. She has
arguably called more people liars on Usenet than any
other person; there are whole parody websites dedicated
to Judy's propensity to call people liars.

And the reason these sites were created (not by me) is
that she doesn't understand that what she calls "lies"
are merely someone else's opinion, an opinion with which
she does not agree. If she doesn't agree with it, she
often sees it as a "lie." Simple as that.

She *did* do both of the things I said she did.

But she doesn't think she did. If I trotted out the
quotes here, she would go on for hundreds of lines about
how she'd didn't "really" say what I said she said. She
would nitpick about how she only "speculated" (for several
days, in several posts) that I was a tax criminal, and
didn't actually say it outright. And if I posted her
a.m.t. quote:

> ...goodness only knows what Barry's been
> telling them about me. Given the fact that Barry
> lies *constantly* about me in public--including on
> FFL--the likelihood of his refraining from doing
> so in private is just about nil.

she'd find some way to say that it *wasn't* really a
claim that I was bad-mouthing her in private email to
FFL members. Judy just doesn't RECOGNIZE that she says
such things. And when they're brought up, and put in
her face, she finds ways to claim she never said them.

That said, you are absolutely correct, Feste.

On some level, she probably actually does have feelings.
And it's bad of me to keep poking at them, especially
when it should be clear after all this time it will
never do any good.

Thanks for pointing that out...
