Ok. I thought there some rule about adjacency of references. Maybe my 7th grade teacher was making it up. So it appears that indeed Vaj had no experience with either upscale clubs -- the subject in question, or any clubs -- and does not base his views on media representations. Thus, as I figured, his views appear based on his imagination.
