It has been posted here that Kirk and his wife are fine,
having been on a retreat in Vermont during the hurricane.
As I understand it, Kirk is to be cookin' cajun for an
Amma fundraiser for the relief effort in Fairfield soon.
And you're right...he would've felt right at home amidst
all the talk of strip clubs and sex.

As for the redoutable woman, I had intended not to comment
further, but I just cracked myself up last night over that
same comment and I have to share it with people here. I
was re-watching "The Excorcist" to review it, and the part
came on the screen where Father Karras is shaking holy water
on poor Regan and shouting, "The power of Christ compels you!
The power of Christ compels you!"

I lost it, because in my mind's eye, I say Judy, sitting in
front of her computer, sprinkling New Jersey river water on
the screen and shouting, "The power of Stein compels you!
The power of Stein compels you!"

I tried envisioning her in religious garb while doing
this, but priests' robes didn't really work visually, so,
even though she isn't Jewish, I settled on a Rabbi's outfit.
After all, the purpose of this particular exorcism is closer
to the function of a Mohel than it is that of a priest. :-)
