Here is one idea, that I had a while ago, when this discussion came up, of how to improve the overall quality of the forum. The idea is to have a summary, a daily synopsis of the BEST OF FFL. Of course, YMMV regarding what is the BEST, it could be simply a very well written, entertaining piece of writing, like the post Barry just made about Avignon, it could be a satire, it could also be a discussion back and forth, were good and new arguments are being presented on each side, but put into a format easy to read. All in all, it should be something, that stands on its own, which doesn't refer to other posts which you would have to follow. There is something similar called NDhighlights http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NDhighlights/, a daily synopsis, drawing it's material from different other Yahoo groups related to non-duality. Anyway, such a synopsis, could clear the wheat from the chaff, but it would need some work. It would be more readable, and could entice people to format their posts better, and to write more content to make it into the Highlight version. But it also would need people to edit it, best a variety of people with different POVs.
