Why are you guys so stressed out about the Yahoo Groups
format?

Most of you don't, or won't, take time to format your
messages for easy reading and reply. Most of you don't
even know how to snip to avoid taking up unnecessary
band space.

Some people just feel better when they have someone to
talk to I guess. LoL!

You got your 'top posters' and you got your 'bottom
posters'. The top posters post their one-liners on top
- and I wonder how much of the message they've
actually read.

Then, you got your bottom poster who post at the bottom
- we assume they've read down to the bottom, but maybe
not.

It's easier to read the top posters tweets because they
appear at the top, but sometimes you don't know what
exactly they are replying to. Sometimes it's just like
a short rant-reply, or totally off the topic thread.

You have to scroll down to see the bottom poster's
tweets and when you get there it's often just a simple
one-liner.

Barry used to format his postings, but lately it's just
a mass of word wrap - lazy I guess. Now Bob is using red
characters. Robin used to post huge paragraph blocks to
read - apparently he didn't understand the Enter key on
his computer, or the Preview button on Yahoo. Go figure.

Judy is still the master formater. Her posts are easy
to read and on topic. I almost always know what line she
is referring to; she almost always avoids using word
wrap, and she knows all about snipping. So, I wonder why
she hasn't got the free Thunderbird yet - she hardly
ever uses rich text anyway. Go figure.

P.S. You can use almost any email program to seed a
message to Yahoo! FFL.

I mean, if you can't keep up with a simple threaded
conversation, you might as well just post a new topic
every few minutes, like Buck used to do.

That way, you can spout off and everyone will read your
one-liner in message view - they won't even have to click
on it to read it.
