Next time you're talking about what the Bible says, Richard, when you add something you made up out of your own head that isn't in the Bible at all, it would be good if you'd say so.
Actually, the descriptions in the Gospel accounts don't say anything about the risen Christ being "up in the air" when human beings saw him. In John, for example, he's standing in the garden next to the tomb, where Mary sees him and mistakes him for the gardener. She probably wouldn't have made that mistake if he'd been "up in the air." > It was "established" a very long time ago. > So, Mary Magdalene was the first person to see the risen Christ after the resurrection. And, I think Jesus rose from the dead and flew into the air so Mary could see him first. Later, Jesus as the risen Christ flew up to Galillee to meet the apostles; and then after that he flew down to the road to Damascus. Then forty days later the risen Christ ascended into heaven. Spirits can fly anywhere they want to any time. That's what I think.
