The only thing about a transcript that can be suspicious is it can be edited.
How many here are old enough to remember the transcriptions of tapes that
President Richard Nixon had made during the Watergate affair? Even an audio
recording can be edited, I have edited audio removing uhs and ahs, long pauses
etc., and material not relevant to a discussion. This is easier with digital
because of the absence of noise from the recording medium. Only a continuous
video recording from a single camera would likely be difficult to edit to
remove material, such as an uncomfortable question.

Um, no, it didn't read like a transcript. Not if you know what a transcript is.

It was a transcript, and it read just like a transcript, and I know what a
transcript is.

It read just like a transcript to me and I know what a transcript is: A
transcript is any written record of a speech, debate or discussion.
