It's most likely true that the TMO have a lot of demand at the moment, they
have a great PR team and loads of celebrities saying they do it and like it.
Everyone likes celeb's, look at what the Beatles did for the TMO, now they've
got Russell Brand, how can they fail!

And besides, we have a new generation hungry for anything better than what our
plastic society offers them, or something to give them an edge. We all wanted
that at some point, we also all wanted easy answers to life's problems and
that's what TM promises more than anything else I can think of. Meditate twice
a day and all your problems disappear! Marvellous but demonstrably not true
except for a few isolated cases perhaps. But I can't laugh because I fell for
it myself. Spiritual desire is real and TM is a great way of getting the first
hit that makes you hungry for more.

What will happen with this generation of TMers is the same as what happened to
my generation and the one before that. The people that like it will stick to
it, the majority will quit before the end of the year. Some, like me, will like
it so much they ditch their career and move in to work for them. Some of those,
also like me, will quit when they realise that the promises don't happen and
that all the amazing products on offer are a load of self-deluding crap and the
organisation itself is a badly run, thinly disguised religious dictatorship.

But TM can be nice and some will stay with it. And we'll probably see examples
of both on FFL at some point in the future. And the train keeps a rollin....

when one has heard as much misdirection, evasive answers and outright lies
