If you buy an Apple be sure to ditch the "retina" display and attach a proper
monitor from Eizo.

I bought my first Mac, a 13" Macbook, back in 2009 at the Apple Store in West
Des Moines. WRT Retina Displays, I have a 2nd gen iPad and a 3rd gen iPad with
the Retina Display, and frankly, I can't tell the difference.

The display is incredible on these machines. We are seriously thinking about
getting an Apple computer - Rita uses Adobe for graphics and Avid for audio
sequencing. We went to the Apple Store recently and looked at all the displays.
We really liked the 27 inch Apple Thunderbolt Display!
