I never heard of sech as that. Over here in the US we jist got popcorn and
the occasional theater shooting.
The Tuschinski may be the best movie theater I've ever had the pleasure of
seeing a movie in. There are theaters I've been in with better equipment and
seating (the American Film Institute theater in Los Angeles) and possibly with
more ambiance (an outdoor walk-in drive-in theater in Morocco, where we used to
watch movies when I was 16 while sitting out under a sky full of stars because
pollution hadn't been invented yet), but in terms of the bar and the overall
zeitgeist of going to see a great movie with a great woman and having a great
time, the Tuschinski just rocks. Anyone who takes his or her date to a movie at
the Tuschinski and can't score afterwards is...uh...dead. :-) Some more

Michael, I don't know about the UK, but one can have a drink (alcoholic) in
most movie theaters I've been to in the rest of Europe. Some of the theaters
even have full bars that are so nice that people come to them to socialize and
have a drink with friends even if they're not seeing a movie. The bar in the
ornate, wonderful Tuschinski cinema in Amsterdam is like that:

Oh man, what an article! Now, is Scotland a part of Scorpion land proper,
do you think?
I mean when Marshy reviled England as the Scorpion land, he didn't specify that
Scots were included in it did he?
Of course, the woman involved could have been Scorpions up for a weekend
excursion in Glasgow.
Wonder how far this particular theatre is from the nearest flying hall?
Didn't know you could get booze while watching a movie. Do they allow that in
all of Scorpion land, or only in Scotland?
