Here's Vyaasa's commentary on YS III 38 (para-shariiraaveshaH, entering another's body)
lolii-bhuutasya manaso 'pratiSThasya karmaashaya-vashaad bandhaH pratiSThetyarthaH | tasya karmaNo bandha-kaaraNasya shaithilyaM samaadhi-balaad bhavati | pracaarasaMvedanaM ca cittasya samaadijam eva | karma-bandha-kSayaat sva-cittasya pracaarasaMvedanaac ca yogii cittam sva-sariiraan niSkRSya shaiiraantareSu nikSipati | nikSiptaM cittaM cendriyaaNyanu patanti | yathaa madhukara-raajaanaM makSikaa utpatantam anuutpatanti nivishamaanaM anunivishante tathendriyaaNi parashariiraaveshe cittam anu vidhiyanta iti The last sentence is kinda interesting. Firstly, it calls queen-bee "madhu-kara-raajaa" (honey-maker-*king*). It seems to state also, that senses (indriyaaNi) follow the mind (entering another's body) as bees follow the queen-bee, whatever she does (flying up or down??). There are a couple of strange words in the comment. Perhaps we'll try to find them in a dictionary any time soon. Anyhow, the reason for the loosening of the binding force of karma seems to be due to the power of samaadhi (tasya karmaNo bandha-kaaraNasya shaithilyaM samaadhi- balaad bhavati). ------------------------ Yahoo!
