The key word of John Jrs query was "philosophical". In fact, thoughts and ideas
are not physical at all - you can't even prove there's not a rhinoceros in the
room. Without consciousness, there would be no sound of a tree falling in the
forest. Go figure.

But, from a philosophical point of view, the planets, stars and galaxies that
we see are forms of consciousness with varying classes and varieties. In some
sense, these cosmological entities are part of us in terms of consciousness.
MMY stated that the universe is in our brains and physiology.

Don't be ridiculous. That last sentence only applies to <spit> scientific
fields of study, not spiritual ones. Everyone knows that none of Maharishi's
theories were ever wrong. They actually *couldn't* be wrong, because he was
functioning at the level of the Laws of Nature themselves. So if facts *seemed*
not to prove one of his theories true, there has to be something wrong with the
"facts." Someone gathered the wrong ones. Either that, or science is just too
gross to measure the *real* facts. Yeah, that's the ticket. :-)

Pastor Barry,

Please, give a specific example in real life that typifies the idea you are
presenting.

We look forward to reading his work, scientific, spiritual or otherwise.
