This is my insight for you grandpa, this dissonance is the product of your mind that goes on this incessant, obsessive philosophizing, almost effortless, mechanical and autonomic, totally insulated from the truth. It fools people into believing you are presenting some sort of objective, enlightened, dispassionate, disinterested position when in reality it is masquerading your biases. I almost admire and envy this ability of you to philosophize on auto-pilot. I tried a few times to emulate you, as an experiment in response to specific situations.
