It's not a moot point. Many businesses outsourced for many reasons. In many cases the US wasn't producing the people with skills that were needed. It wasn't all about cheaper workers.

I'm not a Trump fan but he and Sanders are on the same page about some things. Clinton will just say whatever will get her elected and do whatever she wants if she gets the office whether the public likes it or not.

Your dad may have outsourced for very practical reasons. Same with Trump. What Trump and Sanders want is to stop outsourcing just to save companies money. You can do that by taxing them for outsourcing.

Yahoo is being funky this morning so it won't let me show the message I am replying to but in answer to your question about whether Kraft Corp back in the 70's and part of the 80's (when my father was actually CEO) outsourced its products is moot. He was not running for President of the US and espousing that he would make America Great Again by ensuring that all goods should be made in America. In other words, he wasn't a hypocrite on this subject. BTW, I am not saying that outsourcing product production or labor is a bad thing. I have, all along, just pointed out that Trump is one big fat hypocrite. Mike seems unable to grasp this point and now this seems lost on you as well.
