Yeah, it does. Every year, I'm always amazed by how they can both stay afloat and retain their accreditation, especially with all the disappearing majors, not to mention disappearing buildings. Each year I wonder if this is going to be it, and each year they pull it off.Officially, a certain percentage is tithed to International, and that is public knowledge. But in addition to that there’s a major bloodletting whenever “excess” funds accumulate. Were this not the case, a lot more could have been done over the years to make the place look nicer, pay faculty properly, attract and keep better faculty, buy equipment, computers and software, pay vendors on time, etc.
I wonder if most of the parents sending their kids to the MSAE are aware of the siphoning.
