But, of course if MMY hasn't proclaimed someone

enlightened, they can't possibly *be* enlightened,

right?  Apparently as far as Vaj is concerned, MMY's

would be the final word on whether a person is

enlightened or not.


I mean, otherwise why would Vaj even ask?


It's odd, though, because somehow I had gotten

the impression that Vaj doesn't think all that

highly of MMY's state of consciousness or just

general discernment.  I guess I must have been

mistaken.
