Well, yeah, Charles Manson was very upset with Terry Melcher for treating his songwriting, which Manson held very dear, so frivolously and Mark David Chapman was very upset with John Lennon for making fun of Christianity which Chapman, a born-again, held very dear. In times of turmoil and murder, responsible people don't go out of their way to justify why murderers are doing what they are doing.
