When the WTC rubble was cleared away, there were dozens
of truck loads of bits from aircraft collected with a view,
I presume, to assembling the bits to learn more, in the
time honoured way of investigating normal crashes.

When they cleared the Pentagon site, I understand that the 
amount of such aircraft bits would have fitted in anybody's
trouser pockets. Let's face it - compressor blades are 
ceramic, nowadays. They don't burn. Whatever did for the 
Pentagon, it was no airliner.
