I would say that intuition is the ability to create NEW wholes out of perceived parts without being able to "explain" how you arrived at your conclusion. A mechanic who hears a knock and says "Oh, that's probably a problem with X" isn't intuiting anything. A mechanic who listen to an engine and says "I think we better check your oil pressure, though I'm not sure why" is showing some level of intuition. ------------------------ Yahoo!
