It's a silly and pointless exercise in futiity. Mahesh's secrecy policy is the modus operandi that drove the early Movement. The rather mundane fact that his mother named him Mahesh probably has some significance in all this, but who actually cares. What kind of "maharishi" or, for that matter, "yogi" charges $3000 for spiritual initiation? What kind of spiritual "leader" appears to be dovoted to his "master" but puts his own name on everything?
Seems for such an egomaniac as Mahesh, just being referred to as Mahesh is totally appropriate. Since nobody I know of refers to FLW as "frankie" but mainly as Wright, I don't see the point of the argument. We only have Mahesh's word for it that his so called "peers" gave him the title of "maharishi". So it's just a lot of time-wasting silliness, isn't it. The real question is what's the wee shite of a weasel doing with people's money?
