Interestingly, as Vaj alluded to, Maharishi has taught a few techniques that involve thoughts of planetary bodies, individually and in clusters. I've never really understood why. My experiences are not so vivid as to reveal the import of these techniques. I suspect, however, that it has something to do with tying one's individual awareness to the bigger picture, as a jyotish consultation does. Perhaps someone here can elucidate. I recall a student art exhibit at MIU back in the day that included a painting similar to what you might see from the Hubble telescope. A classmate, Arthur Pons, looked shocked upon seeing it. Apparently he'd seen such an image in his program, and felt that painting a picture of it might be off the program - the equivalent of talking about one's experiences in public, which, as we know, is frowned upon by the TMO. ------------------------ Yahoo!
