Holger Kersten's 'Jesus Lived in India' is a fascinating read. But quite apart from debate over the issues that form the title of this book, is chapter 3 which is entitled 'Moses and the Children of God'. Kersten suggests that the 'Promised Land' is actually situated in modern Kashmir, and he marshals some very persuasive arguments to support this theory. I believe it is well worth the effort to acquaint oneself with this work.
