Dear All, I've read Shiva Ma's letter with heartfelt interest and compassion for our dear friend and her pain at being rejected from the dome. It's sad that someone who still believes that doing TM in the dome is of some benefit to the world, and who is eager to take part in that program, can't participate. On the other hand, what I also hear in her letter are the pangs of one still seeking approval or accommation from the TM organization and it's leaders. The most salient lesson I took away from my years with the TM organization was this: Brahm is the charioteer. Consciousness, God, nature, whatever we call it, is all-pervasive, all-guiding, omnipotent, and ultimately, the prime (and ultimately only) mover. As my path as a seeker blossomed, this pointer gained depth and resonance with the other pointers that teachers radiated on my way. A related point being that there is only one Guru. That consciousness, God, nature (again, whatever we call that transcendental source) is always guiding everything, that all is the Will of God. For many of us, TM was our starting point as spiritual seekers. For many it has proved valuable as a sole path, or has become part of what they consider their spiritual life. For some of us, it was a starting point, succeeded by other teacher(s) and teaching(s) that proved inspiring, transformative, pertinent to the particular destiny of each of us. I believe (for whatever little that is worth) that there is only one Guru, but that life provides us with lessons, teachers, and vistas along the path at every moment. There is nothing personal about being 'rejected' from the dome. It just means that God doesn't need you there, that your particular destiny and it's place in the unfathomable unfoldment of life is better served elsewhere. What a gift to get this message from the Brahm, the charioteer.
