I agree. I wasn't very upset when I was booted from the dome. It was a little disconcerting, as shifts in life's direction can be, but I had a feeling that all was well and wisely put. Over time, that feeling was confirmed many times over. Now, I'm grateful for the nudge. MUM seems to be an incubator for many. If you've hatched and are ready to fly but are reluctant to do so, the momma bird's going to give you a push.
On the other hand, I agree with Shiva Ma's point that if you're practicing MMY's program as taught, nothing added or deleted, you should be allowed to practice it in the dome. Anything outside of that is your personal business and I think MUM shoots itself in the foot by concerning itself with that. To whatever degree this policy has preserved the purity of the teaching (if there is such a thing), it has harmed it and created bad feelings to a much greater degree. But it's not my university, and if that's the way they want to operate, it's their choice. That too is well and wisely put. __._,_.___
