I never lived in Fairfield, but I used to live in Santa Fe, New Mexico, so I hear you. I miss that aspect of Santa Fe a lot. You should try living in France. Lots of very lovely "five senses" kind of overhearing, but very, very rarely do you hear anything even remotely spiritual. Sadly, I think that a lot of their interest in Things Spiritual has been beaten into suppression over the centuries, by those who claimed that they knew The Truth and were willing to kill you if you didn't agree that it was The Truth. > The one exception was when 'The Davinci Code' came out. So did "real world" people talk about it much where you were? I was expecting/hoping that there would be a lot of discussion here in France, because it's still nominally a Catholic country, but it just blew over in a couple of days, with almost no repercussions. Maybe if it had been a better film more people would've seen it and talked about it, but the word went out quick here that it was a turkey and the flick wound up making very few waves.
