Of course we lower ourselves to their level.  The
terrorist's intention is to *terrorize*, which is
what you just said torture involves.

You do know, by the way, that we got waterboarding
from people--the Khmer Rouge, North Koreans, North
Vietnamese, etc.--who developed and used it to elicit
not information, but false confessions, right?
