You appear to read a lot into words. I don't beleive i gave more, lessr, much or any credence to the prediction. I simply observed a prediction was made. I made the observation because its now a reasonable possibility, rather than a wild long-shot -- as it was when made. And, I tend to give more credence, when I do give credence, to his predicitions of world events -- not TMO specific things -- statements which are more intended as motivational/inspirational IMO. And ... > He also predicted that people would start TM at $2500, And they have. Did he say they would be line up around the block? I don't believe so. He said at $2500 only a few -- his target market -- would begin. Seems to be on track ... > pundits would come to FFL, Well one did :) > NLP would succeed, They suceeded in introducing some new ideas in the political arena. Thats a type of success IMO > Peace Palaces would be built through > out the US, Time will tell. How many did he say would be built by 2006? > everybody would want yagya's, I know tons of people who wanted / even still want yagyas > TM mall stores would succeed MMY's MO has always been to test markets, test "natures response". That the test was done is the success of the action, not the specific result. Though the Mall Store idea did seem ill planned. However, in its essence, I think its a lovely idea. I would love to see a TMO store/spa as prevalent as Bath and Body Works type stores. Or Starbucks. Might it succeed in 10 years? Perhaps. And why not? Does TMO have something to offer above these current stores? Of course. Pricing is an issue. But look at prices at any cosmetics counter in any upscale dept store. Outrageous prices. And perhaps prices will moderate over next 10 years. As rajas take active role in running TMO. A less top-down TMO future perhaps. In 1968, at the traditional Asilomar year-end course, Jerry passed out a Chritmas card of all of MMY plans pictured as christmas balls on the tree: TV stations and global communications, schools, books/printing presses, scientific research, etc. I forget the whole list, but many have come to pass. Perhaps not all -- I would love to still have that card. But mnay have happened. He keeps testing to see if and when the time is right. When nature will respond. When collective consciousness is ripe enough. Thats his MO. You may see the MO as silly, maybe not. It works for him and his purposes.
