Zaentz has never done anything in his *life* that he
didn't get a significant percentage of. We are talking
about the man who kept John Fogerty from recording for
over a decade. He held the "rights" to Fogerty's work,
based on a contract he had CCR sign when they were
young and stoned, and when the band broke up and John
wanted to record his own work, Zaentz wouldn't let him.
He insisted on his "cut," which was unacceptable to
Fogerty, so he kept quiet instead. When he finally
outlived the horrific Zaentz contract, he released
a solo album containing a song called "Zantz Can't
Dance," which was about a rather mean-spirited pig.

Saul Zaentz sued him, successfully, and made Fogerty
recall the album, and re-release it without that cut.

Zaentz got his unfair share of the LOTR movies. You
can bet on it.
