Why do you say all the poor are miserable. I think it was Shempgurk
that pointed out to you that the poor are not miserable. You, for
example, are fairly well of, but you are one unhappy, cynical,
lonely son of bum. Case closed.

It is not a case of giving them a handout. It is a case of
systematic and institutionalised STEALING from them.

The actions of the nuclear governments in particular, and their
corporation overlords are STEALING from the poor all around the
world. The oil companies are taking the oil, polluting the
environment, and giving nothing back. Then you drive you car and
watch Fox news and think you are so high and mighty. I am the same,
the difference is that (I don't watch Fox news) I would like to see
steps to make it change. You don't care about the destruction you
cause. The oil companies are just one example. There are dozens.

OffWorld
Shemp was right about India in the early 80's. I was there in '73 and saw the same thing he saw. There were many people that lived in what I would call material poverty but had happiness about them which was an inner quality. There were also those that had material poverty and lacked any happiness as well. I also went back in '96 and saw much less of that inner happiness in the people. Off ,you are in no position to know anything about my level of prosperity, happiness or contentment. When you look through the green glasses all you see is green.< Institutional stealing from the poor? What a laugh! The poor have nothing worth stealing. Oil companies have poured hundreds of billions of dollars into the economies of countries that had absolutely nothing before their oil resources were discovered and developed. To say the oil companies don't give anything back is just more baseless rhetoric from your part. Yeah, I drive my car and watch Fox news but unlike you I'm not jealous of others that enjoy more prosperity than myself. You seem to have a real problem with anyone that has more than you. Offworld, you would make an excellent Marxist.
