I really loved the movie "Bend it like Beckham" which is about a first generation Indian girl in London who is into girls' soccer. One of the sub-themes of the movie is how her father had been kicked out of an all-white cricket club because he was an Indian and how terrible all this racism and classism was. At that point in the movie I felt like yelling at the screen: who do you think invented the whole idea of castes?
