TM is not the best technique in the world.  Some systems, that were not much known when TM came out, such as the Vajrayana use ritual and simple mental cues to pull one to samadhi and then do a performance after for stabilization. Which leads to clearer perception of what is. Clarity, emptiness, effulgence. That's it! Nothing else. Just transcending alone is a waste of time inf the mind has no retention or ability to use transcendence, or if the lifestyle prohibits growth of wisdom.  Growth of wisdom is different from satuirating the mind with transcendence. Though the former can grow from the latter it's not likely without some help, help from ancient tantric systems.  They are where these techniques come from, tantra or technique. Not belief, not meditation alone but an integrated system to saturate the mind with bliss and then lift it away from samsara. Not just leave it soaked in bliss in samsara. That's TM. Lot's of blissfully lost people. No, it's not the best technique. That was custom found and practiced by me from my root lama KDL.

So you don't accept that Yogic-Flying has completely Fouled-Up the TM-movement.??  Try asking Dr. Pete or Archer or Barry.??

Just imagine where the TM-movement would be today if this impractical nonsensical ""Yogic-Flying"" was not started by Maharishi.

Believe me, TM is the best technique in the world.  As essential as Sliced-bread, butter, Apple pie etc etc.  TM certainly will take you to Enlightenment.  Just sit still and practice TM as long as you want.  It is Gurudev's technique.  It works.  It spreads peace in the World Consciousness also.  True.

But not the Yogic-flying money machine.  Just forget about hopping on your butt.  It just won't take you to enlightenment.  All you'll get is a sore butt.

I have told you what is Correct to my opinion.  But you have to decide for yourself what is viable and practical.

We take TM and Maharishi for granted but the people who are on the outside seeing him do the things he has done the impact his teachings have had on the world they see the power of this man and his movement.  When governments use his programs u think no one notices that is your naivete.   Maharishi is noted believe me.  Nowadays they pay attention to people doing much less.
