it is stupid to think that maybe some entity might be instigating negativity as a way of sabotaging the movement but it is not paranoia to think that Maharishi is a conman that has brainwashed all of us and taken advantage of our souls.?????????????

That was along the lines of what Dick Gregory was saying he said that the CIA had found a way to connect with the frequency of the tm mantras and could cause people to go crazy. He predicted that we would see many people going nuts through the practice of tm but it would not be because of the practice but that they knew how to effect the mantra or the brain of the mantra of the person using the technique.  Said Maharishi had sold out to the CIA.

Putting the CIA on TM courses would have been a big waste of taxpayer
money.  We had ex Navy Seals on my TTC course but they were pretty sold
out to TM and great guys too.

I've also heard of it going the other way the TM was devised as a means
to divert the revolutionary students of the 60's from running for public
office and really changing things.  Given demographic of the people on
TTC's I can see that.  But instead wearing suits and the drive to become
financially independent so they could "spend more time with Maharishi"
created yuppies.   And of course money soon supplanted the desire to
spend any time with Maharishi.
