FFL Guidelines "This group has long maintained a thoughtful and considerate tone. Please refrain from personal attacks, insults and excessive venting. "Speak the truth that is sweet" is a worthy aspiration. If angry, take some time to gain composure before writing or pushing the send button."
Turq: "Who *knows* what would happen if this person were deprived of Internet forums as an outlet for their anger. I'm thinkin' that the resulting explosion is what Hiro is seeing in his visions in the TV series "Heroes." :-)" ---- These kind of petty personal insults directed at FFL posters tend towards making FFL petty. They poison the spirit of FFL. And are contrary to its guidelines. While one comment may not seem not a big deal, they are like sparks in a forest. They can easily flame up into 20-30 post flamer wars which are quite a sludge that muck up FFL's once easily apparent sparkle. And as you have pointed out, new lurkers -- as well as "tired of this" long-time readers and posters -- are probably driven away by such. Such momentary "cheap thrills" for you bear a high price we all must endure.
