Not as such, Judy. ToU was Christmas season '83-'84. That was long before Maharishi was starting to think about a big pandit group, a sort of Aftertaste of Utopia. I had access to every significant American Movement publication during those years. Not a one of them makes a specific reference to a group of 7000 pandits in NOIDA during 1988-1990. I also worked in the Movement and attended courses during that time. No official sources said anything about an existing large Indian pandit group. It astounds me how good the Movement can be at keeping secrets, especially things like this or like Maharishi's hospital stay in London around 1990. I didn't have a clue about that until the late '90s, reading John Knapp's interview with Chopra on Trancenet.
