This is off topic so I'll say that as a TMer, my programs would be
much deeper if someone could answer this question. Does anyone out
there use Norton Ghost 2003 to back up their C: drive onto another
partition or DVD disks for recovery? I recently purchased a HP
computer with SATA hard drive and found that Norton Ghost 2003
doesn't work with this HD, specifically on the reboot to the DOS
Norton program. The computer freezes up during reboot. I've looked
into this and found on the internet that this is a known problem and
the solutions so far found are: place -noide in the ghost.exe command
line, turn off USB support and /or turn off the SATA feature.

Has anyone dealt with this and if so, would you please give me a very
detailed instruction how to solve it, including creating a bootable
Ghost CD instead of a floppy (HP has no floppy).

Thanks for any assistance and may your TM be a deep one. Mark
