That might be the real reason, or it might be that Bevan believes that within a 
year or two, 
a lot more students will arrive to study at MUM, so having excess dorm space on 
campus 
would be a Very Good Thing.

Just speculation on my part, but Hindu parents looking for a school for their 
kids might 
find a school associated with 2,000 pundits very attractive.

It's easier to hit up the support base fo morer dorms for pundits than for  
more dorms for 
rich students, IMHO.
