That true and I notice the difference between the Pacific Northwest and 
California.   Folks in the Seattle area may be a difficult to get to 
know but they become long term friends.  In California you can have many 
acquaintances but true friends are difficult to come by.  Other folks 
from the Northwest have mentioned this too.
