You make a good point here about an educated
electorate. The American founding fathers were quite
concerned about an uneducated electorate voting some
bozo into office so the put the electoral college into
place to prevent this. Look what happens when the
electorate is uneducated and look who they support
such as the Palestinians voting Hamas into office.
What a disaster.
