Nor, in my opinion, is it relevant. If one gained some benefit from what he taught, what does it *matter* whether he is enlightened or not? IMO the only value that determination has is for use during "My guru's dick is longer than your guru's dick" contests or when saying to oneself, "I'm doing all this really dumb stuff that I know makes no sense at all, but I'm doing it because an enlightened person told me to do it." :-)
